This world sucks….

When you must be a
Cog in a machine,
More work for less hours,
less pay,
But there is food on the table?

Maximize productivity,
Break his back,
Lower his head,
But he can say
I have food on the table….

Make him humiliate himself,
His poetry and prose

less than the abuse he suffers
From work.

On the bus,
they say to him,
“….aren’t you happy He woke you up this morning?”
In answer,
I sometimes want to punch them,
But there are too many,
and not very civil….

Instead, I politely question….
I think I value freedom,
and life as a wage slave

I’d rather starve,
I’d rather die.

I currently have an e-book of poetry being sold for under a dollar for 99 cents, “Conflicts”.

Sales go to the support of my poetry and limited profit liability company, Stone Temple Micro-Finance and Research, L3C.
