I have been reading how this economy of ours has been an improvement for wage earners, and how 2015 will be a year for hiring.  Also good news, a number of states have elected to increase the minimum wage.

It is good to acknowledge such news, but I have to ask:  how many home-based businesses or micro-businesses were created this year?

The problem I see for improved wages and hiring is that it still economic dependency, in a system during harder times would see those same earnings cut, or jobs laid off to meet the bottom line.

Is economic empowerment too much to ask for?

I don’t think so, I think I only ask to be truly American….

I currently have an e-book of poetry being sold for under a dollar for 99 cents, “Conflicts”.

Sales go to the support of my poetry and limited profit liability company, Stone Temple Micro-Finance and Research, L3C.
